13F filing update: How much of your portfolio is invested in tech stocks?
Views 87K Contents 164

Tech stocks make up 43% of my portfolio. What's yours like?

Hey, fellow traders!
I was checking out the 13F portfolio yesterday and noticed that tech stocks are still major players in their positions during Q2. I mean, we're talking about Apple taking up more than half of Berkshire's positions! Even JP Morgan and Morgan Stanley have their largest positions at Microsoft, while Blackrock is all about Apple. It got me thinking about my own tech stock holdings and the proportion they make up.
Currently, my position has around 43% invested in tech stocks, with my top pick being none other than Apple. I'm a big fan, just like Warren Buffet, who is also a major shareholder.
To be honest, I've increased my tech stock allocation since July, but as we know, what goes up must come down eventually. The Nasdaq Composite slipped earlier this month, although it did bounce back on Monday thanks to chip and AI stocks. So, maybe I'll adjust my tech stock allocation soon.
But hey, let's face it - tech stocks will always have a special place in my portfolio.
By the way, I'm curious to know about your portfolios too. Let me know in the comments. Maybe we'll all come out with some sweet profits together!

  • Chris Ivan Ang : Almost 100% of my portfolio is in Tech. But mainly tech that is in the consumer staple space. Counters that have intertwined themselves into everyday lives such as Amazon Grab and Uber.
