$Taiwan Semiconductor (TSM.US)$ when China takes over Taiwan...

$Taiwan Semiconductor(TSM.US)$ when China takes over Taiwan I think that's a valid statement when not if what is the impact going to be on a company like Taiwan semiconductor has anybody done any serious thought of the implications? if you look at Chinese stocks and there's some great companies they traded a very low valuation to American counterparts a very low price to revenue price to sales.. and that's because there's a element of risk there's an accounting concern. trying to see you with these not extend over to Taiwan semiconductor when China takes over and you would see a significant devaluation in the current stock price to put it in parity with the rest of the Chinese controlled and run companies that trade is adrs and trade on on the New York and NASDAQ exchanges.. just food for thought I'm throwing it out there your comments are appreciated in advance.

  • Desaroe : that's definitely a worse case scenario, be it plausible.. but who knows, mainly from speculation

  • 104132545 : 👍. Another realistic evaluation. Fully agreed that it is a matter of when and not if.

  • 73744816 : Yes, China would love to take over Taiwan, but if it was that easy; they would have done it already! It will be a much greater loss for China, than gain. Since China also depends on TSM for its semiconductors, this will also affect China's economy. China spends about 150 billion per year on semiconductors. Also, what do you think the US would do? In my opinion, China has too much to lose and little to gain.

  • 10baggerbammOP 73744816: and answered your question what would the US do and prior administrations we stood with Taiwan we being the United States early under this current administration it was the same approach and about 1 year in he completely changed the words that the United States would not defend or stand up to Taiwan so under the current administration and that's because the current president has been paid for by China he would let him walk in and take over and it's as simple as that.
