Super Tuesday and GTC 2024: Here are March's Key Events for Investors

Now, the U.S. stock market is poised for a series of significant events in March:
March 5, 2024, will mark "Super Tuesday" in the U.S. presidential election, the day of the primary elections. On this day, 15 states and one overseas territory will hold primary elections for both the Democratic and Republican parties, making it the most intense day of voting for presidential nominees for both parties.
On March 6-7, Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell is scheduled to testify before committees of both the House of Representatives and the Senate.
From March 18-21, Eastern Time, $NVIDIA(NVDA.US$'s annual AI conference, GTC (GPU Technology Conference) 2024, will be held in the United States. On March 18, Jensen Huang, CEO of the company, is set to unveil the company's latest developments. This year's GTC, the first to be held offline in five years, is expected to showcase the latest breakthroughs in accelerated computing, generative AI, and robotics, according to NVIDIA.
On March 20, the Federal Reserve will announce its latest interest rate decision, followed by a monetary policy press conference by the chair Powell.
A series of significant economic data will be disclosed sequentially, including non-farm payroll figures, CPI, PPI, PCE, and others. Furthermore, starting March 10, the North American region will shift back to daylight saving time, resulting in U.S. trading hours and the timing of economic data releases moving one hour ahead.
