Struggling to rise

A couple of months ago it was rising strongly, but before that it had been dropping for over a year. It's back to dropping hard, dropping for any reason. Indices at ATH, competition at ATH or close yet this one hates to stay high. It peaks occasionally and then dumps hard for long periods. It's a tough ticker to hold. I guess it's the reality of a company that has always been the runner up. It doesn't have the mind share and confidence of the large players. NVIDIA sneezes and people fall in love. They throw some change Intel's way and Intel moons. Aside from April lows, when was a time $Advanced Micro Devices (AMD.US)$ climbed over 25%? They haven't had their wow moment for a very long time because they're always playing catch up, they are always, "so promising", they're always second best and if they finally win something (CPU), surprise surprise nobody cares because now there's something new, AMD is caught off guard and now plays catch up.
