$SoundHound AI(SOUN.US)$ reading the 144, looks like alot of insider selling. hmmm anyone knows why? because i like the weekly chart of this for more upside

  • 10baggerbamm : it's running on momentum it's running on the bigger fools theory it's running on hopes and dreams of a takeover it's running on the 7-year-old investment made by Nvidia for $3 million. but what are the facts. no less than 18 times last year during interviews on CNBC and Fox Business and online interviews and conferences the CEO stated that their objective and goal was to be cash flow positive in the fourth quarter 2023 that means they're going to make a profit that's what cash flow positive means. so the earnings come out their revenues were less than expected their losses were greater than expected they did not have any type of cash flow positive results in the fourth quarter their revenue projections are very weak my opinion I have 35 years trading and investing I owned an investment brokerage firm years ago I raised tens of millions in Angel financing for company so I have a little bit of background ..

    the company is now projecting losses for this entire calendar year and that they would not be cash flow positive until the second half best case scenario 2025. they're projecting best case scenario revenue this year of 105 107 million the biggest concern that I have is there inability to fulfill on restaurants at the drive-thru. they have locked up Nationwide White Castle it's done SoundHound has the contract 100% guaranteed done deal. they started working on the installations of White Castle in the second half of 2023 according to the CEO and his interview White Castle is the best case scenario for them because they're only corporate on there's no franchises so that everything is identical from store to store and every order comes from corporate office there is no individual franchise owner that has to make an investment decision it has to make a determination when the installation will be done when the drive-thru will be shut down that type of thing.. so the goal for SoundHound is best case scenario to complete 100 installations through the end of 2024 that's but a fraction of how many White Castle has he also said that it's about 5 years right now for completion of White Castle..

    he also said we're still trying to figure things out which is very troubling it's not what you want to hear from an investor you want to understand that they have what's called the secret sauce and for those that have built businesses you understand that term.. what that means to everybody else is you know exactly what needs to be done when it needs to be done you know the cost you know the process there's no question or doubt for example McDonald's knows exactly two of the penny what it cost to open operate run and profit from one of their franchises SoundHound doesn't have a clue at the end of the day because they haven't installed enough of them. they have a highly concentrated revenue business 80% of the revenues from SoundHound are coming from Hyundai Kia.. all of the restaurant installations are very back-end loaded similar to a mortgage amortization schedule it appears that they're installing for basically nothing and they're getting paid back end it's about a 6 to 8 year repayment process were when they cross your five that's when they start making money on the installation of these order entry systems. and this comes directly from the CEO the transcript the q&A during the earnings releases over the past couple of quarters. so to summarize.

    the company has diluted shareholder significantly they started with 120 million shares they're over 270 million shares in one year there's about 50 million more shares of 144 stock restricted that can be sold at any point in time and then there's a shelf offering that's going to be upwards of $500,000 million it's already been pre-approved in the 4th quarter 2023 they're going to need to do a raise despite having $200 million in the bank because the only way they're going to be able to ramp up and accelerate their installation process is going to be to grow division to hire more people and train them and that cost money and that's what businesses do you have to ramp up. so hanging over everybody's is a very large dilute of shelf offering of stock that will be sold at any point in time and I don't know when that is nobody knows but when that happens it will stop the momentum and it will cause a severe downturn that's just my two cents
    and again none of this matters right now cuz it's running on pure momentum.
