So the war in Iran, particularly the efforts of Israel and the US to topple the current Iranian regime, could negatively impact the global economy. Iran closed the straight of Hormuz in response to military attacks, which, in essence, drive up oil prices and the costs production. The longer the war drags on, the higher prices rise, and the higher potential risks for investors. So, I ask, what was the reason for military strikes in Iran? Why was it so important to depose the Iranian regime?
