People who knows us personally would have known that we have prompted them to look at $SMRT(0117.MY)$ since last year. So this year when the share price KABOOM, we very am teh because we ourselves didnt build enough position.

Some further thoughts on SMRT: -
1. We suspect the extremely high receivables are mostly from the education business that SMRT has disposed. This can be seen in the segmental information. Since the education business has been disposed now, the upcoming financials should show significantly lower receivable numbers.

2. For SMRT to grow further, they would really need to institutionalise the company. Currently, the structure is still very much a family oriented PLC.

3. The IOT business of SMRT looks very rosy at the moment. I wont be surprise if there are many business jumping on the wagon and increasing competition in the market. Moving forward, I would love to see more deeper integration between the software and hardware of its IOT services to increase its economic moat.
