More than a year ago, most analysts had been forecasting and predicting that the year FY2024 & FY2025, SIA may face huge drop in earnings by about 23%. But they were proven wrong this year.
They also have numerous reasons like earning is below expectations, PLF below Covid-19 level, ROE no good, FY2024 and FY2025, huge drop in earnings, etc, etc to suppress its stock from rising.
But, I think in time to come, PLF may far exceed Covid-19 level. Just my forecast.
However, until today, some are still stubbornly forecasting and predicting that SIA's FY2025 earnings will suffer huge percentage drop.
That comment would dampen SIA's upside potential significantly even though this year's earning maybe at its historical and record high ever.
Maybe because they have Disease 'X' is on it's card, I guess. But, I think you are a better analysts then them.
Remember, Transport Minister Chee Hong Tat once said, "The Global Aviation Industry is growing at a very rapid rate. I think that's why we go ahead with T5 project, despite Disease 'X' on the card.
Remember, in 1965 when we first became independent, most analysts also think we can't survive. So be your own analyst.

Singapore Airlines could post highest-ever earnings of about S$2.7 billion for FY2024, says analyst.
While Raymond Yap of CGS International anticipates that the airline will pay a final dividend of S$0.38 per share, he entertains the possibility of SIA sweetening the reward to S$0.42. Please tell them, to add more sweetener. Preferably, 12 cents of sugar.
Oh ! Before I forget, SIA was in financial stressed between 2020 and 2022. Not only they have recuperate all their losses, now they are cash rich.
