  • 183643072 : I currently hold 1,960 shares at $3.9.
Do you think it will be okay to keep holding them going forward?
    I would appreciate your advice.

  • SGoptionsdegen OP 183643072 : Holding 3700 shares at $3.5 cost basis myself

The last few weeks has seen price bounce between 3.5 and 4.5 as retail interest slowly dries up in the waiting period for the 80th event and subsequent analysis, so for me I see every dip below 4 as a loading opportunity since I am long SLS and see the potential for at least 20 dollars a share in a buyout scenario
In the meantime I'm taking advantage of this extremely elevated IV to sell weekly covered calls and make a small profit on a fraction of my position while I wait
This is my strategy for the next few months at least, of course nfa and dyor the usual~~

  • 183643072 : Thank you for your advice.
We will continue to monitor for the right time to buy and wait for the acquisition.
When do you think the acquisition will take place?

  • SGoptionsdegen OP 183643072 : Impossible to predict since I don't have insider information but if I had to guess I'd say June 2026.

  • 183643072 : Thank you very much!
I’d like to keep an eye on it while considering adding to my position!

  • SGoptionsdegen OP 183643072 : SLS has been doing this shenanigan where every two weeks or so it goes into the 4.5-4.7 range and then back down to 3.7-3.8, I'm really liking it for swinging

  • 183643072 : I see, I’ll use that as a reference.
Would it be okay to place a limit order at 3.7?
I’m still a beginner, having only started investing six months ago.
    I’d appreciate your advice.

  • SGoptionsdegen OP 183643072 : Yeah I think limit order at 3.7 is good, honestly to me any price below 4 is a good point to add and that's honestly probably even being too safe considering the potential upside in a buyout scenario. A more logical good cost basis could be anything below 10 dollars

  • 183643072 : This is very educational.
I’m thinking of slightly reducing other holdings and adding to my position with a limit order while waiting for the acquisition.
Do you think there will be another opportunity for it to drop to 3.7?
What probability do you assign to the likelihood of an acquisition?
I would appreciate it if you could share your thoughts.

  • SGoptionsdegen OP 183643072 : I'm observing this biweekly trend where it will run into the mid 4s up to as high as 4.8 and then dip back to just below 4 again by Friday close, which seems to indicate significant short action to wash out hopeful retail investors buying weekly calls. To capitalize on this trend I've been selling alot of weekly covered calls on my positions counting on the fact that I'll get to make alot in premiums and also keep all of my shares because funds will not allow SLS to close out at those crucial 4.5 or 4 levels, and so far it has been very lucrative for me. But in the next 6 months I expect significant positive news and the second I get any news indicating further success on the trials I'll stop my weekly call selling and hold onto all my shares for the inevitable buyout
I'm willing to share my positions regarding the sale of weekly covered calls if you're interested
