Robinhood Crypto BTC vs BTC ETF
For the average retail investor why would anyone purchase BTC on their exchange vs purchasing IBiT ETF. Both are the same where you aren’t owning the underlying asset ? If anything aren’t you more incentivized to buy the ETF since it’s insured up to 250k. $Robinhood(HOOD.US$

104257976 : with the ETF ure not owning the underyling asset cos the ETF is owned by the company that runs it but buying BTC would allow you to possess the BTC as a commodity / currency (however you want to think of it)
Young Irish : I would do ibit.. with Btc you’re not getting an entire coin with the etf you can leverage with more shares vs %’s of 1
StockPickingPoodle : My understanding is you do own btc through Hood, The question was asked what if RH bankrupts what happens to your btc ..Hood claimed they have the asset held for you similar to a stock ...now it might take awhile get it
