I’ll just warn those who think this is a good long term investment, valuation matters. Quantum is good for momentum traders, but if you think a company valued at >$10B with less than $10 million annual revenue is sustainable, you better hope for high growth. But this company don’t even have that, $IonQ Inc (IONQ.US)$ growth is mainly due to inorganic (acquisition based), so quantum computing industry is still very early stage.
If you have small investment in this, hoping for a breakthrough, then you’re fine. If you all-in, then I hope you actually read-up the company, because momentum can go both ways.

小财迷JoJo : its 91-101mil annual btw
小财迷JoJo : I’d argue this is still a good long term, but you are about momentum trading about this stock. The daily volitility is substantial but reward is there too.
The Speculator OP 小财迷JoJo : I assume you’re talking about IonQ, the post is about $Rigetti Computing (RGTI.US)$.
For IonQ, if you acquire enough business, it will look like revenue growth. But separate it into organic and inorganic to show the whole story, IonQ is clearly diversifying to other part of Quantum like quantum sensing etc.
For a CEO who states their system will make Nvidia chip look like a joke by 2027, does that sound plausible?
The Speculator OP 小财迷JoJo : I think for momentum trading, it applies to the quantum industry. Traders will win or already won, most of them already 10x within a year.
My concern is for those who just jump in without doing research, chasing the next “Nvidia”
Is there long term value? Maybe, I’ll make the argument that the current valuation already priced in most of the upside. Just look at the P/S compare to other growth companies, the only way it is justified is from a breakthrough.
