Rideshare Revenue Recovery: Asia’s Delayed Renorm and Expected Gains for Uber, Lyft, and Grab
$Grab Holdings(GRAB.US$ With Uber, Lyft, and other rideshare companies increasing revenue as the world starts moving again, Asia’s renorm has been delayed compared to much of the West, where Uber and similar companies predominantly operate. This has allowed revenue to recover somewhat quicker for Uber and Lyft than for Grab. Analysts expect higher revenue than forecast, despite comparing rideshare companies in different environments. Grab has benefited from the resurgence of travelers into Asia and Southeast Asia in recent months. Therefore, higher-than-forecast earnings and a boost in stock price are expected. Gains of 5-10% by this time tomorrow are likely, if not an underestimate.
