Restrictive policy
Not much surprise from yesterday’s FOMC meeting minutes. Fed is going to keep the restrictive policy in place.
Market is always forward looking. Previously the market has been pricing in rate pause or end of rate hike. Right now, the market is likely pricing in a rate cut next year. It could be because we did not have any slight hint or indication of a rate cut, the market fell a little yesterday.
But it wasn’t that bad. A small red day or two can help to cool off indicators, which can then set the market up for a year end rally

OceansWave : I do feel that the rate cut thingy keeps floating around now is still premature and these analyst by asking this question is creating a lot of volatility in stocks.. yes volatility maybe good and but for the market.. but still, the only time I personally feel is the right time to ask is when interest rates are firmed up by Feds that there are no more rate hikes
