TMW1986OP : All those who long Paramount please do not sell anything no matter the news. Let’s have a short squeeze (13% still shorted). I presume outcome will be as follow:
1) Sony/Apollo go through
2) No deal at all and Paramount will survive through the streaming war in times to come (1-2 years).
I believe all the minority voting shareholders will oppose the Skydance deal unless more is offered to the table. Even if NAI wants to force through, lawsuit will start flying and will become ugly. Warren Buffet and other bigger shareholders are still on the sideline waiting to see what happening next. NAI will not want to offend these shareholders for sure.
