Tesla was far and away the most dominant carmaker in November’s numbers, selling 6,215 new models, and accounting for a market share of 31.2 per cent – nearly three times that of the next best carmaker, Volkswagen, which had a market share of 11 per cent.
Reuter reported Tesla EV sales in the UK and compared with BYD with intention to demean the Tesla brand. In November 2025, BYD sold only 172 EVs (including hybrid) in Norway and not in the 10 Best selling car brands. We should always have a balanced view.
