QT Imaging Announces Second Blinded Screening Trial Finding Its Technology Similarly Effective as Digital Breast Tomosynthesis
QT Imaging Holdings, Inc. (QTI) announces positive data from a study showing the effectiveness of its Breast Acoustic CT Scans for mass detection, comparable to Digital Breast Tomosynthesis. The study involved 24 breast radiologists and 177 cases, demonstrating non-inferiority of QTI technology to DBT in detecting breast lesions, with high specificity in identifying benign cysts. The results suggest QTI's technology could be a valuable alternative to mammography for younger women at risk for breast cancer. The study was conducted by Dr. Yulei Jiang and published in Academic Radiology in January 2024.
