Post-DeepSeek Nvidia
Moving forward from the DeepSeek surprise (even though it was no surprise and can be expected as per my last post), we've already witnessed tendency for significant inclination to sell off or take profits on any AI or quantum computing achievements. The news about new achievements in Quantum Computing and power of China's AI (and China is already ahead in many accounts in this field and unstoppable) is almost given and more will come. The growth in this field is expected to be exponential rather than linear, with each advancement leading to a steep increase in power. It's AI powered AI development. In other words, it technically enhanced itself. Even Jensen Huang himself had spoken about how AI is developing its chip design at a rate previously not possible. Be prepared; even with Nvidia's strong earnings, there may be a tendency to sell into strength on news before retail investors catch on.

protraderx OP : Before the earnings announcement for $NVIDIA (NVDA.US), I mentioned that the market would likely decline unless NVDA reported a significant profit increase that exceeded all analysts' expectations. The expectations investors have for NVDA to deliver substantial results every quarter are unrealistic.
I executed a quick day trade scalp, shorted $NVDA for a profit of $1,801 in just 2 minutes with perfect timing. One trade, one win.

Woke up today to find out that 1 hour before market closed, it plunged further another 5%. Here again show danger danger of keeping to swing or if you in the right direction (short) the much higher profit of swing trade and world have been a nice **k usd profit in one day. Dip buyers of NVDA following mainstream analysts got slaughtered today.
