Palantir - What does the Seeing Stone see?

Share prices tanked after results, so is something wrong, or is this the opportunity  to enter?

The race toward profitability continues.

Palantir successfully maintained its profitability, recording a GAAP operating income of USD 10.1 million.

Government revenue accounted for 57% of total sales for the latest quarter. During the quarter, Palantir announced a contract from the US Special Operations Command that could be worth up to USD 464 million.

However, on a totality, results from the government business were disappointing.

One bright side also is the customer count growth. Palantir grew its customers by 38% YoY, while billings also raised by 52%.

One of the surprises was the guidance boost, where Palantir said third-quarter revenue will likely be between $553 million and USD 557 million, ahead of the USD 552 million expected by analysts.

The other was a USD 1 billion stock buyback plan.
