Options Market Statistics: HOOD Shares Jump and Options Pop After Unveiling Its Robinhood Gold Card

Nvidia fell 2.5% on Wednesday, the fourth largest decliner by in the S&P by percentage change. The chip maker has consolidated gains following the unveiling of its new Blackwell chips, but it might lose some steam as retail traders search for more volatile stocks.
With the market still digesting the announcements from Nvidia's developer event last week, there aren't many new catalysts for the stock.

The most traded calls are contracts of $20 strike price that expire on Mar. 28th. The total volume reaches 18,699 with an open interest of 22,273. The most traded puts are contracts of a $18 strike price that expires on Mar. 28th; the volume is 3,390 contracts with an open interest of 2,889.
Shares of the brokerage firm jumped after unveiling its Robinhood Gold Card, a credit card where cash back can be deposited into a brokerage account.
A user can provide cards to parents, children or caregivers and set the right kind of controls and protection, while also helping them build their credit. They don't have to provide any other information than their name and date of birth and Social Security number if they have one. If you're worried about spending limits, you can put a dollar amount limit and also a child-safe mode for kids."
The Card also allows users to create and delete virtual cards for one-time purchases and will have an APR of 20.24% – 29.99%, which Robinhood said will vary with the market based on the Prime Rate.
$Marathon Digital(MARA.US$ shares rose by 8.29%, closing at $22.07. Its options trading volume was 0.32 million. Call contracts account for 69.4% of the total trading volume. The most traded calls are contracts of $22 strike price that expire on Mar. 28th. The total volume reaches 21,336 with an open interest of 7,658. The most traded puts are contracts of a $20 strike price that expires on Mar. 28th; the volume is 11,267 contracts with an open interest of 3,600.
Unusual Stock Options Activity
Some notable call activity is being seen in $General Motors(GM.US$, which is primarily being driven by activity on the July 19th call. Volume on this contract is 11,272 versus open interest of 188.
