ISTJ : I don’t think Nvidia is exporting nor producing any chips to/in Iran. The oil and other commodities may be impacted, but Nvidia chips shouldn’t.

Therefore, when the war started and was related to the US, most US stock markets would completely collapse. The main reason was that capital and retail investors feared to evade capital, which, incidentally, led to shorting forces leading to a major decline in the stock market.
ChrisYth StockNuub: war -> energy price up -> inflation stick/up -> less rate cut/potential unexpected hike -> drop in biz spending pwr -> drop in sales . Impact all, NVDA will not be spared
StockNuub : That’s a lot of assumptions. First, that a war is a foregone conclusion and next all the 1:1 relationships between the variables. I’m not arguing that you’re wrong, I just wonder if the relationships are that cut and dried.
ChrisYth StockNuub: Well, that’s just naively connecting the dot. And also the troubling part on last few days we are getting conflicting sign from TSM and ASML earnings regarding chip demand.
Mikey_7371 : Earning start for the Fangma + stocks Tuesday people, this happens every quarter, big spike up, big drop just before earning then earning hit and they go up … except Tesla this year . And it’s tax time. Middle East, rate cuts blah blah those are smoke and mirrors. This dump cycle has happened for the last 4 quarters
