so right now everyone is betting that netflix earnings are good? thats the only reason its stock price will go up right haha. everyone whos calling this bullish are just people praying that they will beat earnings. however with information available, aka the chart, it looks horrendous imo super bearish, falling knife

the main thing is the wbd acquisition, if netflix gets wbd it will be very very good,
but there are risks like paramount's offer, their legal actions to sue wbd for unjust treatment, and lastly trumps opposition.
i wont be delving into much details but u can feel free to research more of it to make your own decision

72241773 : Trump will not allow NFLX to get WBD. Kushner is part owner of Paramount. Trump wants paramount to control the News narrative coming out of the WBD. So that is pipe dream until Trump is out of office.
Surf4Life : They should meet/beat earnings, but that won't necessarily be bullish (take NVDA for example). However, the bigger catalyst will be forward guidance.
The Daily Muse 72241773 : This is a very real scenario. What a nightmare... The idea of Trump by extension owning a part of Warner Brothers and having control more control of the narrative is sickening. I hope the regulators and share holders make the better decision and go with Netflix.
