The market is primarily driven by optimism surrounding artificial intelligence (AI) investments and expectations for future Federal Reserve rate cuts, despite high current valuations. While geopolitical tensions (U.S. action in Venezuela) are present, the market seems to be looking past them, with broad Asian equities also climbing and gold prices rising as a safe haven. The technical picture remains in a healthy uptrend, with support levels around 6,800 and resistance near the psychological 7,000 mark.
