New feature is here! INTERAC e-Transfer real-time funding, seize every market opportunity!

Hey, Canadian mooers
Market opportunities often appear in moments, but one recurring pain point has held many investors back:
“My funds are still pending…”
To solve this long-standing issue, moomoo Canada has officially launched:
INTERAC e-Transfer
Your deposits now arrive much faster, allowing you to act when the market moves—not after.
01|Why real-time funding matters
Traditional funding methods usually take 1–2 business days to settle.
In fast-moving markets, delays can mean missed opportunities:
– Pre-market setups but funds haven’t arrived
– Post-earnings swings but no cash available to react
– TSX early morning momentum but deposits still processing
With real-time INTERAC e-Transfer, your funds can arrive within minutes in most time windows. Your trading rhythm becomes faster, smoother, and more responsive.
02|Which accounts are supported?
According to the latest product rules:
✔️ Cash & Margin accounts supported
TFSA, RRSP, SRRSP not supported
✔️ CAD deposits only
✔️ Your moomoo account must have a verified email, because payment requests arrive via email or in-app redirect.
03|How to deposit with real-time IET (simple 4-step flow)
1. Go to Deposit → Select Account → CAD → INTERAC e-Transfer
2. Enter the deposit amount
3. Confirm payment via your bank (via email or in-app redirect)
4. Funds will arrive in minutes
If your bank supports direct in-app redirection, you won’t need to look for the email at all.

04|When will funds arrive?
Here’s the easiest way to understand it:
Most time periods are real-time.Only EDT 16:00–20:00 (post-market) settles by 20:00 same day.
Detailed view:
   ◦ EDT 00:00–16:00 → Real-time
   ◦ EDT 16:00–20:00 → Arrives at 20:00
   ◦ EDT 20:00–24:00 → Real-time
– Monday–Friday (non-bank holidays)
– Weekends & bank holidays → Real-time all day
Deposited funds are available for same-day trading, and eligible for funding transfer / FX / withdrawal on the next trading day.

05|Deposit limits & common issues
Deposit limits
– moomoo default cap: 3,000 CAD per transaction
– Actual limits depend on your bank (most also use ~3,000 CAD per day/per transfer)
Common issues & fixes
– Didn’t receive the email → Check junk folder or verify your moomoo email
– Name mismatch → Bank account name must match your moomoo account
– Payment expired → Simply submit a new request
– Limit exceeded → Try a smaller amount or double-check with your bank
– Payment request cancelled → Re-initiate the transfer
06|What real-time funding really changes
1. Act instantly on market moves
No more waiting through pendings during volatile moments.
2. More flexible portfolio adjustments
Perfect for earnings season, CPI/NFP releases, or rate decisions.
3. Better access to pre-market, post-market & early TSX opportunities
Your capital becomes as fast as your ideas.
In short:
Real-time funding gives your trading decisions the speed they deserve.
