Nasdaq adds Wednesday options for commodity and bond products

The rampant trader interest in short-term derivatives now has new room to grow following the listing of new options contracts by Nasdaq.
The exchange last week launched new two-week options contracts that expire on Wednesdays based on the following exchange traded products:

United States Natural Gas Fund ( $United States Natural Gas(UNG.US)$ )
SPDR Gold Shares ( $SPDR Gold ETF(GLD.US)$ )
iShares Silver Trust ( $iShares Silver Trust(SLV.US)$ )
iShares 20+ year Treasury Bond ETF ( $iShares 20+ Year Treasury Bond ETF(TLT.US)$ )
The contracts available for these products are still less varied than for major stock indexes, which have options expiring every day that enable the "zero-day to expiration" trading that has boomed in recent years. $Nasdaq Composite Index(.IXIC.US)$ $Invesco QQQ Trust(QQQ.US)$
