Nigel's Weekly Trading Assignment Challenge: Learn, Practice and Win
I’ve been testing ideas in a US Margin Account on Moomoo to see how different sectors behave without using real money. The goal is to build a mix that feels balanced but still gives me room to try bolder moves.
What I’m Holding
• Tech anchors like Micron, MasterCard, and TSM. These are my long‑term conviction plays in chips and payments.
• Broader exposure through ETFs like QQQ, PAVE, and COPX to keep things steady.
• Growth names such as Nu Holdings and Bloom Energy for higher‑risk upside.
• Defensive picks including Berkshire, Moody’s, and Oracle for stability.
How I Approach It
I rotate between sectors based on what the market is doing.
I size positions based on conviction so bigger ideas get more weight.
I track performance to spot patterns instead of focusing only on gains.
I treat every trade as a learning rep.
What I’m Seeing So Far
Semiconductors like MU and TSM are leading and the rebound looks real.
Fintech and e‑commerce names such as NU and MELI move a lot but stay interesting.
Infrastructure ETFs like PAVE and COPX keep showing steady momentum.
