My P/L Summary for March 2024 and April Trading Plan

I don't reveal my portfolio due to privacy reasons. I invested heavily in Technology stocks and ETFs. My bets are on the magnificent seven and S&P500. Thanks though Nvidia, Amazon, Microsoft and Meta, S&P500 share price rose in March. But Tesla, Apple and Alphabet didn't do so well relatively. The reason is complex but can be related to high demand for AI chips and positive sentiment towards artificial intelligence related stocks. China dropped in demand for electric vehicles and the iPhone dampened the stock rally . Here are some of my P/L screenshots:

There are several high profile companies reporting their sales figures and earnings in April. Such reports may cause short term volatility in the share performance. My investment goal is for the longer term hence the healthy fundamentals of the company is of utmost importance to me. Besides Q1 delivery figures and earnings, I will be looking closely at the collective analyst's rating and target price.
Having a balanced view on the stock (and the company ) that's read positive and negative reports will help me to manage emotional trading - panic sell (fear) and fomo buy (greed). I will also monitor when the Fed decides to cut rate and reverse its policy to QE (Quantitative Easing). With that in mind, I may lean my investment plan towards buying in more value stocks with growth potential. Buying covered put/call options is another way to protect my stocks.
