My Long-Term DCA Strategy on AI & Quantum Stocks – How I’m Building Wealth in the Greatest Tech Supercycle of Our Lifetime
I’m all-in on Dollar-Cost Averaging (DCA) for the most explosive sector on the planet right now: artificial intelligence, quantum computing, and the infrastructure that powers both. Instead of trying to guess tops and bottoms (a loser’s game), I simply buy a fixed dollar amount every single month, no matter what the price is doing. Emotion removed, math in control.
Dollar-Cost Averaging Explained for Complete Beginners
Think of it like this: Every month I commit to buying, say, $500 worth of a stock.
• When the share price is sky-high → I get fewer shares.
• When the share price gets crushed → I scoop up way more shares for the same $500.
Over the years my average cost per share ends up far lower than the average price the stock traded at, because I automatically buy the most when everyone else is panicking. It’s the single easiest way for a normal person to beat 95% of professional investors over the long run. Buffett, Bogle, and every boring billionaire use this concept religiously.
My Current DCA Targets (November 2025)
Right now I’m aggressively building positions in:
• Applied Digital (APLD) – currently around $606
• BigBear.ai (BBAI) – currently around $626
• Defi Technologies (DEFT) – currently around $505
• IonQ (IONQ) – currently around $1,185
• SoundHound AI (SOUN) – currently trading between $1,214 and $1,231 depending on the share class
• Plus a small speculative kicker: long-dated $17.50 call options on SoundHound expiring Jan 2027

These prices already look absurd because most of these names have 10–50x’d in the last year or so, but I’m convinced we’re still in the first or second inning of a multi-decade boom.
My Earnings Season Playbook – I Love Volatility
Earnings season for these stocks is either fireworks or a temporary bloodbath, and I’m perfectly happy with both.
Here’s my exact plan:
1. Normal scheduled DCA ever OP y month – never paused, never skipped.
2. If a stock gaps up 30–100%+ on great numbers → I smile, do nothing extra, and keep buying on schedule. Winners run.
3. If a stock gets obliterated 30–60% on an earnings “miss” or macro scare → I go full beast mode and deploy 3–5× my normal monthly amount that same week.
Why? The long-term story in AI and quantum almost never actually changes because of one quarter’s numbers. These crashes are almost always pure overreaction driven by options expiration, hedge-fund deleveraging, and scared retail sellers. Six to eighteen months later the price is almost always dramatically higher. I’ve watched this movie play out with Nvidia, IonQ, SoundHound, and plenty of others.
When I see red candles after earnings, I don’t get nervous — I get excited. That’s when my future self is getting rich at a massive discount.
My Iron Rules
• Same day every month, rain or shine. (After Payday)
• Any single-week drop over 30% → instant triple-size buy.
• Never sell winners early. These are 5 year compounders, at least.
• Always keep 20–30% cash on the sidelines specifically for these gift-wrapped opportunities.
The market is going to hand me multiple 40–60% haircuts on every single one of these names over the next decade. Most people will panic and sell the bottom. I’ve trained myself to celebrate those days, because that’s when real generational wealth gets built — one heavily discounted share at a time.
This isn’t gambling. This is disciplined, high-conviction investing in the most important technological revolution of our lives.
See you at $100–$200+ on some of these tickers.
Let’s keep stacking. 🚀
(Not financial advice — just sharing my personal playbook.)
