My fund performance in 2023
1. What is your fund investment strategy for 2023? Which funds did you invest in?
Start of 2023, I already bought MMFs which to date has earned me close to 3.3k sgd and 90 usd respectively. 80% goes into MMF and 20% goes into stocks. Reason is due to the high interest rates which made $Fullerton SGD Cash Fund(SG9999005961.MF$ earn comfortably at an average of 3.8% per annum returns and $CSOP USD Money Market Fund(SGXZ96797238.MF$ at an average of 5.3% per annum returns.

2. How did your fund investments perform? Were there any surprises or disappointments?
As expected, both funds did not disappoint me. There were times they get me returns more than I did in stocks! When that happens, it consoles me that at least I have them in my portfolio.
3. What is your outlook on fund investment for 2024? Will you be making any changes to your portfolio?
Many are expecting a rate cut in 2024, so I believe the yield may drop slightly. However, I may consider not to change my portion in MMFs because I believe the stock market will also be equally volatile and fill with uncertainty. Holding on to funds will likely be the safest bet.
4. Which funds do you have high expectations for in the upcoming year and why?
Currently, Moomoo has the 5.8% promotion for 30/60 days where I park majority of money into $Fullerton SGD Cash Fund(SG9999005961.MF$ . After this, I will explore $BGF Sustainable Energy Fund(LU1978683503.MF$
Energy related stocks has been of interest to me so I will keep a lookout for this.

sociable Dingo_8604OP Alan88: It is accumulation since Sep 2022. And I also often redeem and deposit. Average about 30k-80k in the cashplus. Usually deposit more when there is a promotion.
