Microsoft to invest 1.7 billion dollars in Indonesia - related to cloud and AI

Microsoft in the US plans to invest 1.7 billion dollars (about 266 billion yen) to build cloud computing and artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure in Indonesia. Expectations are placed on the Indonesian economy, which boasts the largest scale in Southeast Asia, for further growth.
  Chief Executive Officer Satya Nadella (CEO) announced this investment over 4 years after meeting with President Joko in Jakarta on the 30th. They also promised to support AI skills training for 2.5 million people in Southeast Asia, including 840,000 people in Indonesia.
