  • JustSurface : i want this at 1.50 for entry

  • SpyderCall : Weed stonks scare me. I like the industry, and I am all about legalization.
But from a historical technical standpoint, Weed stocks like this continue to disappoint no matter how bullish the sentiment gets in these tickers like TLRY. In the past, any significant rise in price was followed by a more significant drop in price printing lower lows.
As for the companies Financials, they could be better. TLRY can't produce consistently positive earnings. They don't have a heavy debt load, but the company needs more income to have consistent positive earnings reports to support growth, which will support a growing stock price. There have only been a few quarters these past few years where the company has had a positive operating income or net income.
Lastly, from a fundamental perspective, cannabis is an agricultural commodity. The price of commodities are strongly dependent on supply and demand. Legalization will significantly increase supply disproportionately with demand, which will decrease the price of the commodity. Lower commodity prices will lead to lower revenue streams.
In my opinion, everything looks bearish for TLRY and most cannabis companies.

  • Hershie : Be wise of the words below, most of it is solid…but they are not all entirely on mark. I invested in this brand when it was in it’s 70’s (yes you read that correctly, huge loss) which was before the CEO was caught siphoning $$ and during the great uprising and before weed became bad news.. But major things have developed recently. Tilray is no longer just a weed brand, they have purchased several alcohol brands from (BUD), big strides have been made in the legal dep bringing weed on the cusp of a schedule 3 drug and as part of this, banks will be able to legally accept and process weed $$ which they currently cannot legally do. This is not buying advice, it is news that could really change the weed game in the very near future.
