Market Mover | Aristocrat Leisure shares jump 10% on strong financial performance
May 16, 2024 - shares of $Aristocrat Leisure Ltd(ALL.AU$ jumped 10.04% to A$44.830 on Thursday. Today, Aristocrat Leisure announced its H124 financial results ended on 31 March 2024.
-Total revenue up 6.1% YoY to A$3269.6 million.
-NPATA (normalized profit after tax and before amortisation of acquired intangibles) increased 16% YoY to A$764 million.
-EPS increased 19.5% YoY to 112.2 cents.
-Aristocrat Leisure also announced an interim dividend of A$0.36 per share, compared to A$0.30 in the prior year.
The management credited the enhanced results primarily to the robust revenue growth achieved by North America Gaming Operations, and also acknowledged Pixel United's successful adaptation and enhanced performance amidst persistently varied market conditions.
Aristocrat Leisure aslo announced that it would increase its on-market share buyback program by A$350 million.
