Qingdao local government will invest 3 billion RMB (450 M USD) to build another roasting factory for luckin coffee with a capacity of 55,000 tons. as a comparison, plus the factory in Xiamen, total capacity will reach 60,000 tons. Luckin coffee consumed 22,000 tons in 2023. we will see 3x growth in the near future. Starbucks purchased 360,000 tons of beans a year. luckin will be like 17% of SBUX. currently it's about 5.5% of SBUX market cap.
