Link REIT: Dead Mall Fears or Deep‑Value Yield at HK$35?

$LINK REIT (00823.HK)$ Link Real Estate Investment Trust has drifted back into a major decision zone, with the 23 Dec 2025 monthly chart showing price around HK$34.98, sitting right on blue support band near HK$35.60. The multi‑year slide from the 2019 peak has already cut the unit price in half, but this HK$35 area has repeatedly acted as a floor where sellers start to tire and yield‑hunters quietly step in.
S&R lines frame the battleground clearly.
The closest support is the HK$35–36 shelf itself; lose that, and the next stronger blue levels do not appear until HK$25.24 and then HK$17.73, the zones where earlier long‑term bases were built. On the upside, immediate resistance waits at HK$43.14, a level that used to be solid support during the prior uptrend and has now flipped into a “prove it” line where every rebound since 2022 has stalled. Beyond that, a higher orange band around HK$52.60 marks the point where a true trend reversal would start to resemble a full‑fledged recovery rather than just a bear‑market bounce.
Right now, Link REIT looks like a classic “value‑case pressing support.” Bulls want to see this HK$35 band continue to hold and, ideally, a monthly close back above HK$43.14 to signal that the long downtrend is giving way to a new accumulation phase. More cautious investors may prefer to wait for either a deeper reset toward HK$25–18, where the reward‑to‑risk skew improves dramatically, or for the price to reclaim HK$43 and prove that the dead‑mall narrative is finally starting to unwind.
