Levi Strauss Gains 8%+ After Hours on Fiscal Q1 Sales and EPS Beat

$Levi Strauss & Co.(LEVI.US)$ rallied more than 8% after hours Wednesday after the clothing giant beat analysts' consensus estimates for its fiscal Q1 sales and earnings per share.
LEVI rose 8.2% to trade at $20.19 shortly before 4:15 p.m. ET after reporting $0.26 of Q1 earnings per share in the three months ended Feb. 25 -- reportedly beating analysts' $0.21 consensus forecast.
The clothing firm also disclosed $1.558 billion of quarterly sales, exceeding the $1.547 that analysts had reportedly expected.
Lastly, Levi Strauss guided EPS for fiscal-year 2024 as a whole to $1.17 to $1.27, roughly within the $1.21 a share that analysts had reportedly been forecasting.
