If people realize how chaotic is driving in China, only then can you appreciate Xpeng City NGP. So far Tesla wouldn't dare to FSD in a China city.
Xpeng highway NGP and Tesla FSD are functionally on par. I think it is safer with Xpeng due to lidars and better driver monitoring than Tesla.
So my assessment is Xpeng XNGP is better than Tesla FSD in China.

While Nio/ Xpeng, which has a team of about 100 people, uses an end-to-end neural networks smart driving by taking sensor data as input and using it directly in the vehicle's control commands, with intermediate processes relying on neural network models system.
