DipNRip 10baggerbamm OP : i have been thinking about potentials for this technology, I could only think of it being used as similar to carbon detectors, or say maybe other poisonous gases. but what makes it better than the cheap carbon detector we currently use ? you mentioned paring it with drones, where could it be used? just curious
10baggerbamm OP DipNRip : the real Market is humanoids that's the market for it if you want to make a humanoid as close to possible as a human then you need to have all of the senses so this company is cutting edge there's only two or three companies worldwide that are working on this and that's the market so this was kind of a joke but obviously it could be adopted strategically from a military perspective to sniff out.. it obviously can be put into not only humanoids but the ground crawling dogs and the little tanks that going to danger situations that are looking for explosives... drugs... the market is enormous. but the real revenue driving force is embedding their technology in every humanoid in the future

josh187 : I don't really see any form of the future where this doesn't play a massive roll. just scent detection units in mining, airports and customs alone is a massive market then humanoid robots then if bill gates has any part in where the future goes every house will have them all over and he'll want to put a tax on our farts
