💙 Just sharing Kaz’s reply because it explains everything so clearly.
What he said is exactly what many of us have been thinking all along:
Right now, the most important thing for Opendoor is rebuilding the supply engine — the part that was damaged in the previous era.
Supply is what drives marketplace liquidity, just like Uber needs drivers and Amazon needs sellers.
Kaz laid out the whole flywheel perfectly:
1️⃣ Build strong supply → make sure good homes are available
2️⃣ Demand naturally grows when discovery is easy
3️⃣ Demand then accelerates supply throughput and margins
So at this stage they are focusing on acquisitions first — but he also said that future dashboards can include sales data.
“Maybe we should.” 💬
To me, this is exactly the kind of leadership we needed:
clear strategy, honest explanation, and fixing the core of the business before scaling everything else.
🚀 OPEN is rebuilding the flywheel the right way.
(Not financial advice — just sharing my thoughts.)

Yell0w : but why the share price still drop?
Yell0w : market up, it down
market down, it down
Yell0w : no news no collaborations at all, management has done nothing
Annoynimous : fast, fast, fast, Asian investors will warm up to him.
bull cow Yell0w : everyday see u complain, if u dont have patience then just buy other opportunities
Hwang Wei Lin : Why do so many make bad remarks of this company and yet they are still here? as compared to last time most of them already left. There must be something that attracted them to stay/hold.
Tadahking Yell0w : wrong... they are working. but i hope you understand i think i want to be honest and be balance i myself am cureently holding 10000 shares. i will post my unbias view. OPEN door is undertaling a new age business model. looking at kaz reply. it is the same with grab uber deliveryhero. increase supply first once the supply is entrenched meaning it has becone a social norm to accept eg the cash plus because of how convenient it is than they will increase their profit margin. to be honest in the near term the profit margin for opendoor is not going to be good because opendoor to ensure a reliable quality supply they have to have alot of extra services on the side which eats into their margin eg. home inspection is espiacillay important which on one wants to pay for. once people find it easy and convenient to trade houses in opendoor aka become a social norm. (this is basically getting everyone to try their service) aka their instant supply is enough basically people willing to sell to them for a discount/the return is lack of hassle and time consumption. than they will turn around and expand their margin aka lower expenditure for home inspection, lower renovation cost. than return those lowered cost onto the buyers and their margin aka work on the buyers. this is not a near term thing and it requires 1 full housing cycle to achieve. this is a REVOLUTION. it is not the standard staple housing buy sell transaction time frame of 3 months on average. new age model/revolution. opendoor is in uncharted territory. above is my 2 cents. no companycan achieve profitability right from the getgo. look at coreweave/bbai a ton more. and i seriously wonder if they can have a collaboration with airbnb to rent out their holdings. OR if you wish to speculate NOT invest i am sure the rare earth sector or the SMR sector with 0 to no revenue and ALL liscense pending will welcome you. EG NKLR drop 70% before rebounding yesterday 18%. buy in NKLR if you dare. most importantly GIVE KAZ TIME to work, this is a massive undertaking it comes with time input its called investing.
Xiaoya Chen OP Yell0w : It’s very clear you rely on fear to profit.Real investors look at data, strategy, and fundamentals — not daily negativity.
You repeat the exact same lines every single day —
market up you say it’s down,
market down you also say it’s down.
Real investors read data, not daily complaints.
It’s obvious that no matter what happens, your comments are always the same negative fear-spreading phrases.
Please stop posting this kind of malicious negativity under my posts.
If it continues, I will simply block you.
HappyDreamer Tadahking : this is what a shareholder perspective view on a long term potential company to invest in. if traders just shall look some other volatile counter to trade.
