JD and BYD Forge Strategic Partnership in Auto Industry

JD and BYD have signed a strategic cooperation agreement to collaborate in various areas of the auto industry. Leveraging their respective strengths and resources, the two companies will embark on cooperation initiatives covering passenger car omni-channel marketing, after-sales service systems, commercial vehicle partnerships, digital supply chain services, and corporate material procurement.

Under the agreement, JD Car will utilize its online and offline channels, marketing expertise, and user base to collaborate with BYD on vehicle sales, corporate partnerships, marketing strategies, user engagement, and battery maintenance.
