We initiate coverage of Jardine Cycle & Carriage Ltd (JCNC), a conglomerate within the Jardine Group with diversified investments in the Southeast Asia region, with a Buy. JCNC offers investors a compelling way to gain exposure to Vietnam’s long-term growth story through its investments in THACO and REE. We expect the increasing profit contribution from the non-Astra businesses to narrow JCNC’s NAV discount ahead (currently at ~1 S.D. below the historical average). The stable dividend payout of ~40% (implying a dividend yield of ~6.6%) also supports our Buy on this stock, in our view. We set our TP at S$29 on a 25% discount (at historical average) to our 2024E SOTP-based NAV of $38.24 per share.
