TrytosaveabitOP SlowndEasyTrades: So the way shorts make money! They go to a broker and borrow shares! They then sell those shares which drives price down if not enough buy side pressure to combat the sales! Then when the price goes down far enough? The short seller will then buy the shares back at a lower price to return to the broker! They pocket the price difference between what they sold it for versus the lower price they ended up buying it back at! Minus some fees for the right to borrow them! This is in lay terms how shorts make money and drive price down!
