Intuitive Machines +23%, Hits Moonshot
$Intuitive Machines (LUNR.US)$ shot up 23% Friday after the company's Odysyus lander touched down safely on the South Pole of the moon, NASA Chairman Bill Nelson announced on X. It marks the first successful mission by a private company to land on the lunar surface.
The firm released updates to its lunar probe throughout the week, launched by a SpaceX rocket. Pictures of the distant satellite loomed into view before the lander touched down Thursday night, confirmed via a live NASA broadest.
LUNR has enjoyed a 338% price climb throughout the year as the company shot to the moon.
