Haha it could be worse so shares buyback helps in this case. Doesn’t hurt to reduce the outstanding shares to increase the earnings per share especially buying back at the price way below the stock’s intrinsic value. I guess confidence can only be slowly instilled with May’s result and beyond. Take it easy young Jedi.

Haha I don’t have crystal ball but based on their recent restructuring, cost cutting and profits taking from their investments with potential higher dividends and or shares buyback announcements during agm, results should be pretty decent. But then again, many retailers might still not touch this stock due to lack of confidence unless huge institutions and algo starts to pump up Chinese equities as a whole like what we saw in Jan 2023 after opening up. It can easily shoot up if market makers wants it to.
