inside Nasdaq headquarter
Wait, wait, wait, did you mention that this is a special OFFLINE event? So, does that mean we can attend? Count me in too! Also, just to clarify, is this taking place in Singapore or the USA? Nasdaq MarketSite is located in the US. Or are you saying there's a chance to win a free trip to Nasdaq MarketSite with airfare + accommodation included? Oh wow, I'm definitely interested in that!
Here's my questions:
1. NYSE vs. Nasdaq. What's the Difference?
Here's my questions:
1. NYSE vs. Nasdaq. What's the Difference?
2.
"The NYSE is an auction market, where investors buy and sell to each other through an auction. The Nasdaq is a dealer market, meaning participants trade through a dealer." - Quote from Forbes.
Could we have more examples on this? What do they mean by trade through a dealer? Could I say Nasdaq can be classified as OTC?
3. Whats the setting inside Nasdaq? Does it look like the photo below?
3. Whats the setting inside Nasdaq? Does it look like the photo below?
People always running around to shed pounds? So hectic, isn't it? Or just sitting infront of the big big screens?
3. If I win, because I am obese, until now can't lose weight, just want to make sure there are obese, not fit, not attractive traders in the NASDAQ too otherwise too embarrassed to go
4. How do you stay updated on market news and trends relevant to the Nasdaq?
5. What advice would you give to someone just starting out in Nasdaq trading?
6. How do you determine your entry and exit points for Nasdaq trades?
Thank you, thank you.

Mcsnacks H Tupack : The Nasdaq Marketsite is in Times Square and has a max capacity of 100 which is used for an IPO's attendees. But they have 360° cameras that can be accessed so you can "participate" from home if you are an invitee.
Cui Nyonya KuehOP Mcsnacks H Tupack: Thanks for sharing. I was told that we need to pay for our own tickets and accommodation
Mcsnacks H Tupack Mcsnacks H Tupack: That photo looks like Auction trading that used to happen 20 years ago which is done by NYSE. Everything is updated and advanced now.
Cui Nyonya KuehOP Mcsnacks H Tupack: ok thanks for sharing
Mcsnacks H Tupack : A dealer posts prices at which it is willing to make a market in a security, indicating both the price at which it will buy the security and the price at which it will sell the security. Dealer markets have removed the broker that used to be necessary for trading. The market maker puts up the capital and provides the liquidity so that the bid-ask spread is risk controlled.
Mcsnacks H Tupack : You should never care about what others look like or care what they think about you. If you don't like your weight then do something about it and if you don't want to do something about it just accept it and be happy about it. Life is too short to not be enjoying everyday you have because there will come a day when you will wake up for the last time.
Mcsnacks H Tupack Cui Nyonya KuehOP: It's not that great of a place. It's like a museum kinda that host company IPO events. There's no exciting trading happening there. It's not an office building anymore. It's been turned into them just showing off how great and rich they think they are. By them I mean the executives and board members who don't do any real work just set up publicity events.
Cui Nyonya KuehOP Mcsnacks H Tupack: Many thanks for your kind sharing
