If you are NOT willing to learn, no one can help you. If you are DETERMINED to learn, no one can stop you.
None of us have all the answers in the stock market. Anytime we think we have it made, or get complacent, the market reminds us that this is not for the faint of heart.
So how can I stay on top? By having a hunger to learn as much as you can. Learn about trading and investing, yes, but learning about companies, their financials, backtesting your strategies, and working to find a strategy that works for you and YOUR goals. For me, it is having CONVICTION in what I do, and buying stocks CONTRARY to customary means and trends. I combine these with patience (the tortoise always wins) and you have a winning combo.
That is not the ONLY way, it is just one way, but to win long term, you have to be determined to learn the ins and outs and constantly research the companies. Many want to just be told what to do, by Wall Street or stock pickers. Instead, get up in the morning, put in the work, and pay yourself. You are the master of your fate...you can't see green without getting a little black and blue.
