102715498OP Fat Penguin: it's when the company merges the shares of every holder.
Taking this RS as 1-9,
if you had 90 shares at 10 cents/share before a RS(reverse stock split), you would have 10 shares left and 90 cents/share after the RS is executed.
Take note that the market value of your holdings will be the same.
