$NVIDIA (NVDA.US)$ I have a question. I did order 2 Nvidia on limit order at 874, and I got them on 879. If someone knows why, is moo-moo stealing money or a different issue? This is not the first time.

10baggerbamm : you didn't do an option you did a market order because if you're giving a dollar amount you need to call the month and the strike and a put or a call for an option. it sounds like you ran a market order and it's a fast market and orders ahead of you had preference so that's a lesson that you need to learn. you can put a limit to buy and if it hits that limit and there's enough time your orders triggered and it's filled at that price but market orders can come around you and you can miss a limit. you can do what's called a stop limit order which means if it hits that price it turns into a market order you can do a stop limit stop which means if it hits that price fill it at that price and no other price

10baggerbamm : if you entered an order to buy X number of shares of Nvidia at $874 limit. you will get 874 or better you will not get a worse print. so it's impossible if you entered a limit order at $874 and you confirmed it before pressing enter that you printed at 879 impossible I can guarantee that
