$NIO Inc(NIO.US$ I don't understand NIO's layout anymore. You spend a lot of money to develop a power exchange service. The technology is now also open to major electric vehicle companies. You leverage on other partner’s capital to grow faster. Yes you may earn less, but you get to grow the infrastructure network way faster. So even though many stations might be not directly owned by NIO in the future, I believe NIO will still earn some sort of technology patent or royalty fee.
