$Hang Seng Index(800000.HK)$ plummeted 247 pts or 1.3% to close at 18,202. $Hang Seng China Enterprises Index(800100.HK)$ lost 89 pts or 1.4% to close at 6,314. $Hang Seng TECH Index(800700.HK)$ sank 85 pts or 2% to close at 4,091. Market turnover totaled $86.846 billion for the whole day.

Techs sagged along with the external market. As $Apple(AAPL.US)$ came under pressure, $SUNNY OPTICAL(02382.HK)$ plummeted 7% and 4.3%, and $AAC TECH(02018.HK)$ slumped 3.5%. Chip equipment maker $ASMPT(00522.HK)$ slipped 2.6%, while chip stocks $SMIC(00981.HK)$ and $HUA HONG SEMI(01347.HK)$ dived 7.6% and 5.7%, amidst concern of spicier chip tech control by the US on China.
