HSI Opens 20 pts Lower; JD Mounts 16%

Hong Kong stocks opened lower in the morning session.  $Hang Seng Index(800000.HK)$ opened 20 points or 0.1% lower at 16,417. $Hang Seng China Enterprises Index(800100.HK)$ opened 20 points or 0.4% higher at 5,693. $Hang Seng TECH Index(800700.HK)$ opened 15 points or 0.5% higher at 3,428.

JD's US ADR $JD.com(JD.US)$ surged 16% after the Company reiterated that its 2024 revenue will outperform overall retail growth. The stock shot up 8.2% to $96.5. $JD LOGISTICS(02618.HK)$ rallied 8.2% after it turned a loss into a profit of RMB616 million for 2023.

For other techs, $NTES-S(09999.HK)$ lost 4% to $162.7, while $BABA-SW(09988.HK)$ and $TENCENT(00700.HK)$ climbed 0.3% and 0.1%.  $MEITUAN-W(03690.HK)$ , $XIAOMI-W(01810.HK)$ and $KUAISHOU-W(01024.HK)$ added 0.8% to 1.2% each, while $BIDU-SW(09888.HK)$ slid 0.2%.
