HSI Dives 351 pts at Close; Tech Stocks Retreat

Hong Kong stocks followed the downward trend of external and A-share markets. $Hang Seng Index(800000.HK)$ tumbled 351 points or 2.1% to close at 16,248. $Hang Seng China Enterprises Index(800100.HK)$ decreased 112 points or 1.9% to close at 5,743. $Hang Seng TECH Index(800700.HK)$ plummeted 104 points or 3% to close at 3,337. Total turnover for the day was $114.58 billion.

Technology stocks $TENCENT(00700.HK)$ lowered 0.9% to $301.8, while $BABA-SW(09988.HK)$ , $MEITUAN-W(03690.HK)$ , $JD-SW(09618.HK)$ , $BIDU-SW(09888.HK)$ and $NTES-S(09999.HK)$ lost 2.3% to 2.8%. $KUAISHOU-W(01024.HK)$ and $XIAOMI-W(01810.HK)$ dropped 3.4% and 3.6%, while $BILIBILI-W(09626.HK)$ slumped 5.5%. $PA GOODDOCTOR(01833.HK)$ , $GDS-SW(09698.HK)$ and $WEIMOB INC(02013.HK)$ routed 5.6% to 6%, while $MEITU(01357.HK)$ crumpled 7.7%.
